I'm a Guitar Hero!

Zippy really, really, really wanted Guitar Hero for our Wii. Since I bought the Wii for him, I've been hearing about his lifelong ambition to become a guitar hero. I finally broke down.

Turns out, I'm the greatest Guitar Hero ever. I thought I sucked at Guitar Hero. I thought I didn't like playing it. Turns out, 10 years of piano lessons makes you really quite good at playing a silly video game.

I really like video games. If only they'd come out with Keyboard Hero. Oh. Or Kazoo Hero.

Drive Trucks?

Zippy and I both enjoy video games. And I've been looking forward to the day where I can play video games with Baba (and kick his butt, of course), but I've often wondered how young will we be able to get him addicted.

Turns out 1 year and 11 months is the answer. Zippy spent an hour this afternoon teaching Baba how to drive trucks on Midtown Madness. Now if I could just teach Baba to play Lego Star Wars with me.

Wasting Time

I heart Lego Star Wars II. Totally addicted. Every spare second I am playing Xbox. Yeah, that's good for my carpal tunnels.

But, I did turn down an offer for three months of free cable so I've got that going for me. At least I won't be wasting my time watching TV.

Is it really wasting time, if I am enjoying myself enormously?
